Who I Am:

I’m Leah Barwick, a Sumter native, Clemson grad (go Tigers!), and someone who’s deeply passionate about protecting people in all stages of life. Opening my own State Farm office is more than just a career milestone, it’s the realization of a purpose I’ve carried for years: to serve the community and people that shaped me into who I am today.

After graduating from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science, I dove headfirst into the insurance world, where I quickly discovered that this business is really about people. It’s about being a steady hand when the unexpected happens -- whether that’s a fender bender, a house fire, or the loss of a loved one. I’ve built my office to be a place where honesty, empathy, and education lead every conversation.

I’m proud to offer Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and more — all tailored to the unique needs of individuals and families in Sumter, SC and the surrounding communities. From first-time drivers to retirees downsizing, I love helping people feel confident and protected every step of the way.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me with my dogs, spending time with family and friends, hunting, or working in the garden. I also love cheering on Clemson, supporting local businesses, and grabbing coffee with new and old friends alike.
